About the Creator
Gideon Wynne founded Pembrokeshire Art Services out of a deep personal connection to the area’s creative spirit. Though based in Vancouver, Canada, Gideon has spent years immersed in Pembrokeshire’s art world—visiting studios, attending openings, and forming friendships with local creators. What began as a passion project to share discoveries with friends evolved into this dedicated platform, driven by the conviction that Pembrokeshire’s art deserves a voice beyond its shores.
Why This Website Exists
Too often, regional art scenes are overlooked by national platforms. We created this site to ensure that the quiet brilliance of Pembrokeshire’s artists isn’t lost in the noise. From the ceramicists of St Davids to the painters of Cardigan Bay, their work tells a story of place, resilience, and beauty—and we’re here to make sure it’s seen.
Our Values
Our approach is rooted in authenticity, accessibility, and community. We verify every event and profile before publishing. We prioritize local voices over commercial promotion. We believe art should be inclusive, and our content reflects that—whether you’re a seasoned collector or someone picking up a paintbrush for the first time.
