St. Brides View
Edward is an exhibited and published artist from Solva, Pembrokeshire.
He loves to capture movement, and takes aspects of the natural environment - colour, atmosphere and mood - and transfers these qualities into a visual form. The inspiration for his work encompasses both the physical and non-physical; he strives to demonstrate the beauty of the unaltered outside world, a world full of movement and colour.
Edward writes: 'In 2011, I decided to travel the planet for 18 months with my paints and create work amongst the elements. The locations intentionally included some of the most unforgiving environments on the planet, such as the Australian outback; the South-East Asian rainforest; the volcanic regions of New Zealand, Iceland and Hawaii; and the Arctic blizzards of Canada. Back in Pembrokeshire now, I am taking what I have leaned and using it to my advantage on the Pembrokeshire coastline.'
