Martin’s work is inspired not only by the wild, rugged land and coast of Pembrokeshire but also by the weather that has helped to shape it.

He likes to work in a variety of media, and to experiment with different painting techniques – not being tied to one way of interpreting what he sees, but adapting to the constantly changing light, mood and colour of this wonderfully inspiring land.

His subjects vary from well known landmarks to the little facets that are sometimes overlooked – such as a shower cloud out to sea.

 

He has a studio gallery at his home address, which is open on Thursdays and Fridays, 10 am – 4 pm.  He will open out of these ours, but please telephone first to make sure he is available.
