Spectacular and dramatic, 12th century Roch Castle sits high above the Pembrokeshire landscape offering panoramic views over St Brides Bay and the Preseli Hills. Step inside to find the historical footprint intact, ensuring the feel of a real castle; whilst the luxurious contemporary interiors guarantee the highest level of modern comfort. Six characteristic ensuite bedrooms hide away within the protective walls, while the jewel of the castle; the Sun Room, located on the fourth floor, has floor-to-ceiling glass walls and an alfresco viewing platform, affording guests a scenic and special space to relax.

Feature artists Daniel Wright and Amanda Wright of Goat Street Gallery, St Davids, were commissioned to create works for Roch Castle within their preferred media of ceramics and textiles respectively.  Daniel designed a range of ceramics based on the architecture and landscape of the stunning St Davids Peninsula, producing hand-thrown earthenware pots detailing drawn images of Roch Castle, and sister properties, Twr y Felin and Penrhiw; whilst Amanda, who works as a hand-stitched embroiderer using coloured yarns onto a canvas backing, created detailed tapestries inspired by the history of the Norman castle, which now hang in the high ceilinged public spaces.

Choose a bed-and-breakfast stay or take exclusive use and indulge in unique accommodation, fine dining at Blas Restaurant, at our sister hotel, Twr y Felin, and enjoy the perfect location to explore the UK’s only truly coastal National Park.

Complimentary transfers are available for dinner to and from Blas Restaurant.
