The definition of tranquillity, Penrhiw Hotel, St Davids, nestles in acres of private gardens, enveloped by woodland paths, river and meadow. Restored with the utmost care, original features subtly contrast with the contemporary interiors, creating a welcoming atmosphere that extends into the seven ensuite bedrooms and spacious ground-floor suite.

Featured artist Brendan Stuart Burns has created a body of work inspired by the beauty of nature, and his close relationship with the Pembrokeshire coast is obvious within the abstract paintings on display throughout the hotel. The concept of space, both actual and pictorial; implications of time and place; issues of movement, weather and light; alongside gesture, glimpse and memory are constant themes within his work.

Colourful oil paintings by Geoff Yeomans - an artist who retired to West Wales over 25 years ago and who often paints in a photorealist style, with an incredible eye for detail - can also be seen at Penrhiw, as can the ‘Moon Jars’ of local ceramist Adam Buick, who traditionally uses a single, pure jar form as his canvas to map observations from ongoing studies of his surroundings.

Choose a bed and breakfast stay or take exclusive use and enjoy luxury accommodation, fine dining at Blas Restaurant at our sister hotel, Twr y Felin, and the perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire.

Complimentary transfers are available for dinner to and from Blas Restaurant.
